Join Pastor James Lindberg for a fascinating exploration of how the biblical character of Satan evolved from a divine prosecutor in God's heavenly court to the cosmic adversary familiar to Christians today. Through careful study of biblical texts and ancient Jewish literature, we'll trace this theological development from the Hebrew Bible through the Second Temple period and into early Christian writings. This class will meet for one hour each Thursday at 10:30 AM or 6:30 PM in the Luther Room or online, starting on April 24. No prior Biblical or historical knowledge is necessary. All are welcome to this thought-provoking journey through scripture and history.
